Charles has been performing magic since his teens and brings to his current
magic performances over nearly forty years of experience as a teacher of
public speaking and as a teacher, actor, and director in community and
educational theatre. He has lectured on magic to theatre conventions
and on theatre to magic conventions, in addition to appearing at many
magic conventions as a performer and lecturer.
He has also published a series of essays called "Reflections From A
Wizard's Eye" in M-U-M in the mid-80's, and now it is running in The
Linking Ring. Charles is currently an Associate Editor of The Linking Ring.
He has a series on Staging Magic running in The Young Magician (the
youth magazine for the Magic Circle) and in the Magic SYMbol (the youth
magazine for the SAM).
