Rebecque de Fontes brings a theatrical flair to magic, as she presents her
lecture on costume and makeup for magicians. "Well organized, informative,
and thought provoking... her lecture was full of the real secrets." (The

look like a star!
Rebecque was introduced to magic when she interned on John Tudor's video series, The Magic is in You!, while she was persuing her degree in Mass Communication and Theatre at Lander University. Since being bitten by the magic "bug" she has combined her knowledge of theatre and magic to invent gimmicks and unique magic tricks with a womanıs point of view. Rebecque performs magic both with John Tudor and as a solo artist as well as acting of SCETV and doing voice-overs for theatrical performances. She has performed at the South Carolina Association of Magicians Convention, the Phoenix Gathering, and for clients such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, The World Affairs Council, and as a guest artist with The SC Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2001 Rebecque and Kelly Lovejoy created a new convention concept, SPAMM(Spouses, Parents, And Magi-Moms) to focus on theatrical showmanship in magic. SPAMM runs in tandum with SCAM and is held in Columbia, SC every January. Lecture will include:
